We are excited to open OG swim team registration THIS Thursday, March 10th!!!

Some things to know about swim team and registration NEW this year:

• OG will be offering additional swim practice times to accommodate various schedules. We will offer early morning practice starting at 7:30am. There will also be a Tuesday evening option (5:30pm-6:30pm). We will ask swimmers to sign up for these additional times to make sure we have enough interest and coaches. (These new practice times are subject to change based on swimmer interest and coach availability).
  • We will also have regular practice times as in previous seasons. (There may be flexibility in age groupings, TBD.)
  • May 16th Practice Begins Monday through Friday
    Swimmers 6 & under 4:15 - 5:00 pm
    Swimmers 7-10 5:00 - 6:00 pm
    Swimmers 11- 18 6:00 - 7:00 pm
    June 13, 2021 Morning Practice Begins Monday through Friday
    Swimmers 7 -10 9:00 - 10:00 am
    Swimmers 11 -18 10:00 - 11:00 am
    Swimmers 6 & under 11:00 - 11:30 am
• OG registration fees have increased due to the OG HOA no longer paying for our coaches salaries.  We hated to have an increase, but to maintain our team it was a must.
• All parents are required to volunteer for AT LEAST 3 volunteer shifts during swim meets. (Parents of only SHRIMPERS- there are specific volunteers jobs JUST for you.) NEW THIS YEAR- you must sign up for your volunteer positions PRIOR to completing your swim team registration. 
• Attached is the flyer for our suit fitting on May 7th.  We will have the same suit as last year for the girls. You do not need to purchase another one unless you need a new size.  Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, we do have a new boys suit. If you purchased a boys suit last summer, YOU CAN STILL USE IT, but we do have a new style for new swimmers and if you need a new size. 
• All swimmers registered by May 6th, will receive a FREE OG t-shirt. Parents may order additional at a cost.

If you know a new family who would like to register, forward them this information. All new families WILL need a swimtopia account to register and will need to email me to set this up.
