Swimmers must be between the ages of 5-18 and be able to swim freestyle the length of the pool unassisted to qualify for the swim team.
All new 6 and unders (including those in returning families) must be coach approved. You may register your 6 and under but he/she is not guaranteed a place on the team until the coaches have determined that the swimmer is ready for the swim team (can swim freestyle the length of the pool with no assistance). You will be notified following the second week of practice if your 6 and under will be on the team this season. If your 6 and under is not ready for the team you will be refunded your money for that swimmer. Your swimmer must be registered in order to attend practice to determine eligibility.

Missing a meet
- If your child is not able to attend a meet due to an illness or emergency after they have already declared that they will be present, please email the league representative at [email protected] so that adjustments can be made.

Swim instruction through private lessons will be provided by Olde Georgetowne Swim Team coaches this season. Please reach out to the individual coaches for dates/payment.
Join OG Pool
Register to become a member of OG Pool and Tennis for 2026, membership is required for all swimmers. There are different levels of membership.
VOLUNTEERING
Each family is required to volunteer for four positions per season. Some volunteer opportunities require special training or experience, but most are pretty straight forward and easy to do.
