Time Trials TOMORROW

• Time trials will be at normal practice times.
• Shrimpers will swim free and back
• All other ages will swim all 4 strokes

MEET DECLARATION- just like you did for the time trials, we are asking that you let us know your availability for EVERY meet. 

• You can go ahead and declare for all meets now and change if needed. Here is how:

  • YOU MUST DECLARE BY 5PM two days prior to meet as we start to prepare the entries then. Thursday's meet will close at 5pm on Tuesday.

OG T-SHIRTS- Team shirts and orders are here!  Please find Janelle or Danielle at the Time Trials tomorrow and grab your gear.  All swimmers get a shirt.

SWIMMER BEHAVIOR-

• Please remind your swimmer to be respectful to the coaches. Several age groups are having a lot of difficulty. We want this to be fun, but if no one is listening it reall detracts from the ones that want to improve.  We will be asking swimmers to get out of the pool if they cannot do what is asked and/or distract from the others.

OG VS PROVIDENCE PLANTATION- JUNE 9th (more details will be sent Monday

• The theme is USA- Wear your patriotic colors!!!
• All swimmer MUST wear an OG cap or a cap with no words. Year round caps and High school team caps are not allowed. (THIS ALSO GOES FOR BATHING SUITS).
• Concessions are back!!! We will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, candy, drinks and more!!! Money from concessions supports our team!!!!
• KONA ICE is back- the Kona Ice truck will be at the meet!!!! Kona gives $ back to our team too!!!
• REMINDER- Shrimpers (6&under) will not swim at regular meets. Any 7/8 year old who cannot make it across the pool will also not be able to swim at Thursday's meet. 
• VOLUNTEERS- we still need a clerk of course (help make sure swimmers are lined up for events) and meet manager (help call out times to Nicole to enter into computer) for Thursdays meet. Please let me know if you are available.
  • Please check and see if you are volunteering. I will send out a list of all volunteers on Monday.
• TENTS- Anyone have a pop up tent we could borrow to shade the swimmers as they wait for their events?

SWIM LESSONS- I am working with the coaches on swim lesson availability. I will send out contact information for the coaches that are available this week.

MORNING PRACTICES

• Thursday practice will be 9:00-10:00am for 10&unders, 9:30-10:30 11&up. 
• Thursday is POPSICLE SOCIAL DAY! Popsicles for all swimmers!!!!
• No Practice on Friday.
• Morning practices start on Monday, June 13th.

OG FAMILY NIGHT AND SHRIMPER MEET- June 16th

• The pool will be open for swim team families only!
• Shrimpers will swim!!!
• Senior Night!!!- come celebrate our seniors!!!!
• Relays for all- Please fill out this form if any parents would like to participate in a relay!!!
• Food truck and fun!!!!!
