OUR MEET IS AT HUNTER OAKS TOMORROW!!! HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...

ADDRESS: 815 Beckford Glen Drive - Waxhaw, NC in Hunter Oaks.

ARRIVAL: Be there a 5pm. In pool warm-ups are from 5:30-5:50pm. Shrimpers and 7/8 medley relayers will go to the clerk immediately after they warm up to begin getting them lined up.

PARKING:

Please feel free to park along ONE side of Beckford Glen (you will see signs on one side where no parking is allowed) and fill the parking lot at the clubhouse. The front circle must remain clear for our food trucks.

FOOD: They will have three dinner trucks on site in addition to a small concession stand. The concession stand (cash/Zelle only) is located inside the pool deck and sells candy, chips, drinks and soft pretzels. Pre-ordering is encouraged! It helps with the lines and ensures they don't run out of food.

CHAIR SET-UP: Your team is welcome to set up chairs under the freestanding pavilion located at the end of the pool. That is our "away" side. We don't have a huge deck - and we have over 200 swimmers! So we also invite and encourage spectators to also set up outside the pool deck on the shaded hill behind the starting blocks. It's a grassy area so blankets and chairs are welcome.

VOLUNTEERS: There is a Volunteer Check-in table - Julie Caldwell will be at the check in table to check you in! Please find her there to get checked in for your shift!  There will have a brief timer meeting and stroke and turn meeting before the meet begins over by our baby pool. Usually 5:30/5:40 respectively.

REMINDER:

Please remind your swimmers (who aren't racing) to stay out of the pool (no dangling legs, no dips in the shallow end) during the meet. Hunter oaks encourages parents to sharpie the kids with their first initial and last name on their back shoulder (Ex: A. Jordan). This helps the Clerk of Course get kids into the right order. Not a must do - just a suggestion. We will try to do dive-over starts to speed things along for the older kids - please let your swimmers know.

SWIMTOPIA APP: We encourage your team to download it and use it to follow along with the meet. Our Wi-Fi is: HO Pool and the password is hunteroaks. RUBBER DUCKIES: We give out little rubber duckies to the heat winners of our 8 & under swimmers. Please let your swimmer know that the ducks are NOT meant to be kept. They can trade the ducks in at the concession stand for a special treat. 

ATTIRE: Please wear your OG suit or a similar color and bring the swim cap we gave you on Monday, another plain cap or an old OG cap. We handed out all of the caps we have until TYR gets us ours so we don't have extras at this time!!! We are still waiting for our TYR caps to come in. Wear an OG T-shirt or blue/green shirt if you don't have one from previous years as we are still waiting on those too! We will hand out caps and shirts as soon as we get them! We have been in touch with TYR about this numerous times to try to speed the process along.

VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS: WE STILL NEED A PERSON TO CALL OUT TIMES TO THE COMPUTER FOLKS DURING THE FIRST HALF. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THIS!!!
