Hello OG! See below for information for the meet at Weddington that is this Thursday! Plan to arrive around 5-5:15. We still have 3 volunteer positions to fill, see below!
The Wahoos are excited to host Olde Georgetowne on Thursday June 20th for the 6:00 PM GCSL swim meet.
Parking and Seating
Address: 4315 Weddington Matthews Rd, Weddington, NC
Parking attendants will be on hand to help direct cars to parking areas including the main lot and overflow field behind the pool.
The visiting team sits to the left side of the facility and may use the picnic area and bring folding chairs for seating.

Per GCSL regulations the kiddie pool, shallow end and diving well of main pool, playground, and basketball courts will be closed during the meet.
Pool Configuration and Timer Info
The Wahoos have an 8-lane pool and use traditional dual stopwatch timing. The Wahoos switch from first to second shift between events 32 & 33 (at the end of backstroke and start of IM events).
Warm-ups
The Wahoos will warm-up between 5:10-5:30. The visiting team will warm-up between 5:30-5:50.
Food and Concessions
The concession stand will be open and serves pizza, hotdogs, pretzels, drinks and other treats. It will also sell Chick fil a sandwiches and chicken nuggets. The grill will be open selling burgers. We will also have Sunset Ice set up to the right of the entrance selling slushies.

Clerk of Course
We ask that athletes enter the Clerk of Course (CoC) area from the dive well on the right side of the pool. There is a table there for CoC check-in. Only the next 7 heats are permitted past the CoC check-in. We ask that athletes only enter from the dive well side and DO NOT enter CoC from the left side by going behind the blocks.
Volunteers: We still need a 2nd half clerk of course, 2nd half volunteer float and 2nd half meet manager assistant! Please sign up in swimtopia.
